Tooting was named one of the coolest neighbourhoods in the world by Lonely Planet. This moving documentary explores gentrification and development in Tooting and its surrounding areas. The film aims to educate and provide an unbiased view of the changes which are taking place in the neighbourhoods of London. It also shines light on ethnic tensions on the streets of London as well as exploring themes of identity and loss.

 

I worked on this documentary for almost a year, filming various scenes and interviewing residents, MP Siobhain McDonagh, various business owners in and around Tooting Market and tourists. The documentary was published on my YouTube channel in early 2019.
